From Market to Ecosystem — SEMICON China 2026

From Market to Ecosystem
China’s continued development across the semiconductor value chain has made it an increasingly important node within the global ecosystem. This reflects ongoing efforts to build capabilities across design, manufacturing, equipment, materials, and packaging. For Singapore-based firms, this creates both commercial opportunities and strategic considerations. It underscores the importance of remaining competitive and maintaining active participation in a supply chain that is becoming more regionally distributed and structurally interconnected.
SEMICON China 2026 is underway at SNIEC, Shanghai from 25–27 March, connecting industry professionals to one of the fastest-growing microelectronics markets in the world.

This year’s event features 1,500 exhibitors and over 5,000 booths across 100,000 sqm of exhibition space, with conferences and forums addressing the full electronics value chain, from chip design and manufacturing to advanced materials, display technologies, and smart factory transformation.
SPETA, along with 11 companies under the Singapore Pavilion, is representing Singapore’s semiconductor sector by showcasing expertise in advanced manufacturing and precision engineering, while engaging with international participants across multiple technology domains.

There has been steady engagement and meaningful conversations throughout the exhibition floor. Singapore companies continue to demonstrate their capabilities and contribute to the development of a globally connected and innovative semiconductor ecosystem.
SEMICON China is not just a showcase. It is a place where partnerships are formed, opportunities are explored, and the future of the semiconductor industry takes shape.
